When will I get my first issue?
On the product detail page, you will see an expected "Lead time" displayed. The date of the first issue cannot be guaranteed, but should be within a few days of the lead time.
If you have purchased a subscription to a digital product you will be able to read the issue immediately in your My Subs Library. However, it might take up to an hour to reflect in your My Subs Library on a mobile device.
How do I know if my order has been accepted?
You will receive a confirmation email, if an email address is provided( depending on publications) All subscribers will receive a welcome letter, stating the commencement date of their subscription and their subscription number
Can I order magazines to be delivered outside South Africa?
Yes, My Subs currently does accept orders for delivery in foreign countries. There are additional tabs on the ordering options section to purchase magazines or newspapers for delivery outside of South Africa
Please note the price will differ from the local subscriptions. And the rate will differ according to publication
What do the different subscription frequencies mean?
Daily - One issue per day
Weekly - One issue per week
Bi- weekly – One issue every second week
Monthly - One issue every month
Bi – monthly – You will receive 6 issues per year, usually 1 magazine every second month
Quarterly - You will receive 4 issues per year, usually 1 magazine every three months
Annual – One issue per year
What is the difference between an annual subscription once-off and monthly payment?
If a subscription is purchased with a once-off payment the full amount must be paid before the subscription is started. With a monthly payment the full subscription fee will be split into 12 monthly payments, which can be paid by debit order or recurring credit card payment.
Who processes the payment for my order?
In the case of a credit card payment, the payment is authorised through our secure payment gateway (MyGate). Debit Order details and EFT payments are confirmed and managed by the My Subs Finance team. If you have a payment query, please contact finance@mysubs.co.za.
What if I don't receive an order confirmation email?
If you haven't received an order confirmation email, please first check your spam folder - it is possible that the email went directly to spam. If you still can't find the order confirmation and you are unsure whether your subscription was successul, log into your My Subs account and click on 'My Account' and then on 'My Subscriptions'. If we received your order the item will appear in this list. If you can't find your subscription here please contact the support team by sending an email to support@mysubs.co.za

How do I cancel my subscription?
You will need to login to your account, and browse to the "My Subscriptions" page. If you click on the "Cancel" button you will be taken to a form where you need to select the cancellation date and reason for the cancellation. Your request will be submitted to the subscriptions team, if your cancellation is successful the remaining amount will be refunded to you (if a once-off payment was received).
No refund for cancellation will be issued in the following cases:
1. Only one credit remaining on the subscription
2. When a special offer was part of the subscription
3. The amount to be refunded is less than R 50 (fifty rand)
Can I exchange my magazine?
The subscription can be killed and the existing amount can be used to acquire another magazine for that amount or refunded and then you can subscribe to a different publication.

What do I do if my magazine is damaged?
Contact us on the contact numbers listed here and we will have a replacement sent.

Which payment methods are accepted?
Credit Card (VISA and Mastercard), Debit Order and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
What is a Debit Order?
To pay by debit order, you will submit your bank details with your order and each month the order amount will be debited from your account on the day you specify.
How secure are my payment details?
Your credit card details are not saved, and this site uses 128 bit SSL encryption to ensure purchases are safe and secure at all times.
Changes to Your Order or Personal Details
How do I renew my subscription?
You will need to login to your account, and browse to the "My Subscriptions" page. If you click on the "Renew" button, you will be taken through the payment process and on confirming your renewal will be submitted.
How do I change my order address details?
You will need to login to your account, and browse to the "My Subscriptions" page. If you click on the "Edit Details" button, you will be able to update your address(es) and submit them to the subscriptions team.
